Meet Your Farmers
We're Josh and Jennifer Autry, the proud owners of Autry Family Farms. With over a decade of marriage behind us and a lively brood of six children—five boys and one girl—we've embarked on a rewarding journey in agriculture.
Nestled in the scenic Southwest of Indianapolis, our small-scale farm has been a labor of love since 2020, when Josh answered a heartfelt calling to till the soil. Little did we know, this leap of faith would prove timely, especially when the world paused in March 2020. As the demand for transparency in food production surged, we found ourselves uniquely positioned to meet this need.
Operating primarily within our 2500-square-foot greenhouse, we've cultivated an array of mushrooms and microgreens year-round. Equipped with multiple grow rooms and pristine clean spaces, our greenhouse harnesses the power of aquaponics—a symbiotic system where nutrient-rich water from our fish nourishes our plants, while the plants reciprocate by purifying the water for our aquatic friends. With each harvest, we're honored to provide our community with fresh, organic fare, grown right here on our farm. As stewards of the land, we eagerly anticipate many more years of serving our community with the nourishing bounty of Autry Family Farms.
Aquaponic for a Sustainable Ecosystem
We use aquaponics to enhance nutrient levels and offer natural fertilization for our micros and mushrooms. This ensures you receive the freshest produce, grown and harvested sustainably, free from harmful chemicals or pesticides.
Local
Every product from our farm is grown in our greenhouse, which means you can feel confident knowing where your food comes from, and every purchase you make helps bolster our local economy.
Natural & Nutrient-Rich
Our dedication to microgreens and mushrooms isn't coincidental; these crops offer up to 9 times the nutrients found in traditional, mature vegetables.
